Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

IEPs are learning contracts between the teacher, parent, and student. In this plan students are assigned additional work so that students may work at their own level. IEP goals and assignments are determined in a conference where all three parties are present; they are renewed every interim or trimester block. IEPs may be manipulated by parents in areas they deem necessary. The 4th grade IEP meetings have already taken place. Students present their IEP progress to the teacher during Dude Meetings on Friday afternoon.
